Moka Arabika Coffee Brownies That Makes You Stay Awake

I bet you can not resist this

When I say this brownies makes you stay awake, I mean it. I repeat, I MEAN IT!

Honestly, I put too much coffee to my brownies mix. Did I regret it? No I don't! Hahaha. Well, today I want my brownies get the bitter taste and rich flavor from my coffee. The reason is because my husband come home with a large bag of Arabica-Robusta Coffee from the famous coffee shop in town, Toko Aroma.

That smell when you open the paper bag...is like foodgasm. Seriously. No kidding. I love the smell of coffee. Is rich, is dark, is bitter yet addicted. And, yes, is full with caffeine. But hey, we do need that  thing in our lives. Do we? :D

Well, this coffee brownies idea just pop up in my head when I enjoying coffee time at Starbuck with bunch of emak-emak from Kumpulan Emak Blogger. I was so mesmerized by that coffee brownies that Nchie ordered.

So I think I'm gonna make better than Starbuck.
And it has to be so "coffee-ing" if you know what I mean.

But when searching for the recipe, I ended up with some instant espresso kinda a thing. So all the ingredients are the same if we're making the common brownies but with some table spoons of espresso coffee.

First, I don't have any espresso powder.
Second, isn't coffee-ing enough? I doubt that.

So I twisted that "so common brownies" with double the coffee. Hu'uh I did that. I used a shot of brew hot coffee and the coffee powder its self. Not that the instant espresso, but the Arabica-Robusta coffee I mentioned before.

My coffee shot

Arabica-Robusta ia a mixed from Arabica coffee and Robusta Coffee. You can buy this kind of delicious from Toko Aroma at Banceuy.

Well, anyway, back to that funky brownies. When I pour the coffee shot, the texture is become soupy. So I guess this is the reason why my brownies were not so goey. But is fudgy anyway. And it taste sooooo goooooood.

So when you decide to make this coffee brownies with this recipe, I let the decisions on you. Whether you want to double the coffee and using a shot of coffee or just using a coffee powder. Both or great!
